This March, recycle your electronic waste and support our Green School efforts. Bring your e-trash to school on Saturday, March 7 from 9-12 or Sunday, March 8 from 9-3. We will accept all computer equipment and attachments, monitors, printers, ink cartridges, keyboards, audio, video equipment, cameras, calculators, hard drives, CDs, DVDs, all cords and wires, clocks, music players, batteries, video games, phones and more! Electronics will be recycled by Computer Recyclers of Michigan. All information is removed and no electronics are sent to landfills. A donation of $5 per family is suggested.
Students in Grades 6-8 have the opportunity to volunteer for the event with parent supervision. Want to help? Download an E-Trash Service Opportunity form and return it to the office by Monday, March 2.
Have you heard the news? St. Mary School earned Emerald Status in its Green School designation and was named "Top Overall Green School Program" in Macomb County. The school wide efforts of students, staff, and parents has helped us Green School status four years in a row as part of the Michigan Green School program. Read more about how we earned 26 Green School points and claimed Top Honors as the "small but mighty" St Mary School for the 2013-2014 school year.
St. Mary School is proud to be part of the St. Peter Parish family in downtown Mt. Clemens. Just a few blocks away from St. Peter Church, our students attend Mass every week and are given many opportunities to worship in the church throughout the year.
